Reflect:
The artifacts that I chose for this standard represent it because they show that I use outside resources to learn new areas of research so that I can continue to grow as a professional. I chose two artifacts for the same specific category for this standard, and they both are reflections of articles that I have read for a class. We had to read many of these over the semester in which we had to read the article and then write our own reflection on the article we read, about what we understood from it and what we thought about it. These artifacts reflect this particular standard because it shows that I am aware of different resources to use that can enable further learning that is essential to a professional teacher.

Project:
These artifacts show that I am a learner who is willing to go outside the typical sources and use many different resources to learn and find out about new research that might be helpful for my teaching career. They have also helped me become a better teacher because they have made me realize that doing outside research from available resources is an excellent way to inform me of any new information that might be of importance to me and to my students. I plan on making sure to use additional information that I read or find and make sure that it is releveant to my teaching and classroom, and implement such ideas in the class.
